Silvia Gómez López, a 17-year-old épée fencer, embodies the promising future of fencing in Spain. Silvia started fencing at the age of seven through an extracurricular activity. Passionate about sports and competitive, she quickly began participating in competitions. Inspired by the Olympic athletes she admired, she has continuously trained to reach her goals.

Achievements and Recent Accomplishments

A member of the Spanish national team, Silvia had an impressive season in 2023-2024, winning gold at the European Cadet Circuit in Copenhagen and bronze at the Cadet European Championship. She also qualified for the quarter-finals at the Junior and U23 European Championships, finishing 5th and 7th respectively. Silvia won the titles of Spanish Champion U23 and U17, both individually and as part of the team.
